As they say in French: "Shoemakers always have the worst shoes”. This is true in many areas, including personal development! So this morning I decided to do some self-coaching. I was struggling to know what I want and I fell into the classic mistake of putting subjectivity into my analysis.
When you start saying to yourself "I would like more..." or "it should be less...", your brain is going in the wrong direction. I took an hour to figure out what was important to me. What would make me really happy if it was a success by the end of the year.
Result: 8 post-its with "what I want to achieve" and "why I want to achieve it."
555AM CLUB
I'm convinced that the future belongs to those who rise early. I still have a hard time getting up at 5:55am because Parisian life doesn't make things easy (we dine late!). But little by little, we're getting closer.
I've created a habit-tracker to measure my success on this.
DAILYMAX
I'm taking more and more pleasure in writing this newsletter you're reading. It's crazy by the way, we're already at the 33rd! This desire for a "daily-content" strategy challenges my creativity and expertise in content creation. I allow myself to miss one day, but never two in a row!
You can find all my newsletters in the archive > HERE
BUCKET LIST
I've fulfilled more than 30 dreams since the beginning of the year. 70 more to go! It's a real school of life, where I learn more and more about myself. I'm also learning how to learn! I'm also thinking about starting a "dream coach" service to help others to realize their dreams.
We'll test the idea on Timeleft!
FASTING
It's a lifestyle I've been trying to establish for a long time. I'm getting there little by little. Now I only eat a simple banana in the morning. I still allow myself to eat 200 calories when I have a morning workout. Why fasting? You have hundreds of videos on the subject on Youtube.

MORNING ROUTINE
If you follow me, you know I'm a big fan of the morning routine! I like to start my day with my 150min morning routine: 30min meditation + 60min reading + 30min writing + 30min getting ready for the day. I know that if I don't do my meditation or my 60 minutes of reading in the morning, I won't make it by the end of the day.

SPORT / NUTRITION
It's my drugs! I admit it. But it has saved my life many times. I'm in the best shape of my life. I will continue to make progress on nutrition and try to reach the 12% bodyfat level. For the physical part, I have some big challenges this year: do half an ironman in 5h30, run around Paris (33km), hold a human-flag for 5 seconds, do 100 pushups in a row, do 20 strict pull-ups or improve my swimming performance.
Luckily, I have my friend and coach Nicolas for that!
TIMELEFT
My new project! I'm so aligned with this project, it's my vision 100%. Above all, it has incredible potential, the market is massive. We need to create the company this summer and launch the V2 of our platform. We've finished the designs, I'm getting chills just thinking about it! Can’t wait !
We will also test a first business model in September.
SPYRIDON
Did you know that Spyrídon Loúis is a Greek athlete and the first Olympic marathon champion (1896). It is also the name of my personal holding company, with the aim of helping as many people as possible to achieve their goals. I've just put everything in place, legally and financially. Now it's time to start creating a revenue line.
It's important to have more money coming in than going out!
This is how I re-prioritized my life in 8 post-its.
I really enjoyed taking this time, writing down what I want to accomplish by the end of the year. Those who know me well, know that I often use the question "what are you trying to accomplish?".
Life is short, years go by quickly.
Taking a morning to write down what you're trying to achieve is the best way to make sure it will happen one day.

Quit social media | Dr. Cal Newport | TEDxTysons
'Deep work' will make you better at what you do. You will achieve more in less time. And feel the sense of true fulfillment that comes from the mastery of a skill.
Cal Newport’s most recent book, Deep Work, argues that focus is the new I.Q. in the modern workplace and that the ability to concentrate without distraction is becoming increasingly valuable. He previously wrote So Good They Can’t Ignore You, a book which debunks the long-held belief that “follow your passion” is good advice, and three popular books of unconventional advice for students.
