Algorithms will rule the world. It's only a matter of time. We can see that robots are gradually replacing human beings, from supermarket cashiers to Uber drivers to fitness coaches. Why is that? Quite simply, because we produce a mind-blowing amount of data to feed "the system".
Every day millions of people listen to music on Spotify. Every day millions of people give their music preferences to Spotify. Every day the Spotify algorithm gets more powerful.
Take playlists, for example. Have you ever tried to create your playlist on Spotify? The 'recommended tracks' feature (below) is disconcertingly effective... As soon as you've put 5 or 10 tracks on your playlist, Spotify will put tracks you should like. And frankly, it never misses!
In just a few minutes, you can create the perfect playlist (click below), whatever your musical taste. I just created a playlist with 117 tracks (12 hours of music!) in the blink of an eye. It's really bluffing!
Just like the "like" feature. The more tracks you'll like, the better the recommendations will be. It wouldn't surprise me, that in the near future, DJs will be replaced by algorithms! Imagine a nightclub, where you give your Spotify at the entrance, and the music adapts to the musical tastes of the people present, all in real time!
ONE QUOTE TO SHARE
“There is a formula for success in business, and it goes like this: You set out to find the very best talent in the marketplace, and then give them a compelling and inspirational vision of what you want them to achieve for you and the company. Then you empower them to achieve those goals using their own skills and talents in any way they choose. If, at the same time, you demonstrate how enormously you value them, not just through compensation, but also verbally, every single day, and if you enable that talent to share in the profit that they help create for you, you’ll be successful. It’s so simple, and virtually nobody does it, because it requires a high-trust working environment, and most business environments are low-trust. In order to own the future of your business, you have to design it around trust.”

Microsoft is putting Halo: Infinite back into the oven. The publisher announced today that it is pushing the next Halo game into 2021 so that developer 343 Industries can have more time to refine the final product.
This is a major blow to the Xbox Series X, which is launching in November according to Microsoft. Halo: Infinite was supposed to act as that platform’s biggest release at launch. Now, anyone picking up Series X this holiday is going to have to wait.
