The one and only method to lose weight
To lose weight, there is a formula that works 100% of the time: consume fewer calories than you burn or burn more calories than you consume. It's so simple, but it can be explained to you many times, you won't really believe it. This was my case for years. Looking back, I can see why.
We think we know how many calories we consume per day, but in reality we are very bad at calculating that. We think if we eat "healty" then we can afford to eat "more". We overestimate our physical activity. And more globally, we don't know at all our daily calorie needs (to maintain or lose weight).
So if you want to see (finally) results, I recommend that you do the exercise of counting your calories for 30 days. All you need is a scale and an app. You will discover a new "reality"!

It took me a while to figure it out, but you have to slow down to speed up. If you get stuck in 10km races and want to conquer your first half-marathon, you need to learn to slow down your speed to be able to add more km.
Pro tip: run with a friend and talk the whole way through. If you can't talk any more, you're running too fast.
