You have 168 hours in a week
It was one of the discoveries that changed my life. Everybody knows we all have 168 hours in a week. What a lot of people don't know is where all those hours are going. Once we start to understand how we really spend our time, we realize that we have more than enough time to do whatever we want to do. And that's a big slap in the face!
Stay with me, we'll do some math.
Let's start by taking away from his 168 hours the most important thing: 49 hours of sleep. Don't cheat with that. That leaves us 119 hours. Let's assume you're ambitious and work 60 hours a week. We now have 59 hours left. Let's take away 1 hour for commute, 1 hour for breakfast, 1 hour for lunch and 2 hours for dinner, so that's 33 hours. We're down to 26 hours available.
Stay with me, we're pushing on!
You want 1 hour of exercise a day? No problem! We have 19 hours available. Need to spend every Saturday and Sunday afternoon with your kids? It's not a problem. We've got 9 hours left. Feel like watching your favorite TV show for an hour before going to sleep on top of all that? No problem! We've got 2 hours left.
What if this 2 hours left were the solution to all your "I don't have time"?
The exercise that changed everything for me: Take a piece of paper, draw 168 squares. Every night, before going to bed, put "roughly" what you did in each box, throughout the day. Do this for a week. You will be surprised to see how you spend your time.

If you make your bed every morning you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride, and it will encourage you to do another task and another and another. By the end of the day, that one task completed will have turned into many tasks completed. Making your bed will also reinforce the fact that little things in life matter. If you can't do the little things right, you will never do the big things right.
And, if by chance you have a miserable day, you will come home to a bed that is made that you made — and a made bed gives you encouragement that tomorrow will be better. If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed.
ONE QUESTION TO ASK YOURSELF
If I could only work 2 hours per week on my business, what would I do?
